Arceus Oneshot

“YOU PROMISED!” That one single thought throbbed through his mind as the unbearable attacks raged on. No matter how much he wanted to, he couldn’t fight back. The silver water had reached to his knees, rendering him immobile. His entire body was racked with severe pain from both being pummeled with large boulders and the never-ending electric attacks. By now, he was too weak to break the electricity with an attack of his own. The last time he tried, it only landed him here in the bottom of his own temple, slowly buried alive in silver water.

“I trusted you!” came the scream from within the depths of his broken heart as another wave of electricity ravaged his weak and dying body. Spurned by his own creation. The shock of Damos’ betrayal was almost unbearable. He had never experienced anything like this before and for the first time in his long life, he didn’t know what to do. Everything hurt. He didn’t know it possible for a heart to hurt this much. Soon, he hardly noticed the incessant electric attacks. Damos’ betrayal was all he could think of. Why? How could this happen? After all he had done for them, after everything he did to save them from death, they were now repaying him by sending him to death. The once untouchable creator of the world now faced his own stark vulnerability and the results were becoming lethal.

By this point, everything was becoming muddled and fuzzy, and he found it hard to hang on. Despair was completely foreign to him yet he found himself sinking deeper and deeper into it as he sank deeper and deeper into the silver tomb. Despite the intense heartache, he found himself starting to become numb. The end was near; he could feel it. As his entire being gave in to rage, one last thought choked its way out of his shredded heart when everything went black and he knew no more.
